Light Pollution
The reflective glass of urban buildings and the lights of billboards that are always on make the city look beautiful at night. Light sources have brought about technological progress, economic growth and many human developments. At the same time, excessive lighting has also brought about a very serious problem - light pollution. This is a kind of visual pollution caused by outdoor lighting, caused by skylight, light intrusion and glare. This project focuses on the hidden pollution of light to organisms. Light brings convenient life and colourful night landscapes to humans, but the harm caused by excessive lighting will also be immeasurable. Light pollution will cause irreversible damage to plants, animals, humans and the ecological environment. I tried to think about the relationship between lighting and human activities through images from the perspective of babies. In addition, I also recorded the experiments on the relationship between light and plant growth through photography and recorded them.
